  I had a frustrating experience at this location that I hope management can address with some additional employee training. I needed to mail a simple letter containing a check and payment coupon and wanted proof of mailing/delivery. I specifically asked for First-Class Mail with Certified Mail and no return receipt. The employee told me that Priority Mail would be a cheaper way to accomplish what I was trying to do and placed the letter in a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope. I paid $12.90. Afterward, I checked USPS’s current official pricing. Certified Mail is $5.55 in addition to First-Class postage. Even depending on the weight of a standard First-Class letter, that would have cost roughly $6.37–$7.24 total. The Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope I was sold costs $12.90. Priority Mail still provides the tracking I needed and my letter should get where it needs to go, so the service itself isn’t the problem. My concern is that I clearly requested the less-expensive Certified Mail option and was specifically told the more expensive Priority Mail option would be cheaper. It’s only a difference of several dollars, but customers should be able to rely on postal employees to accurately explain the services and prices available to them. Hopefully this can be addressed with some retraining so someone else trying to send a simple certified letter doesn’t unnecessarily pay nearly twice as much.

  Staff are trying their best, but this has been a very unreliable office. There needs to be consistency in the clerks, because of the overcharges. Staff need understanding of how things are to be sent and charged.

  This location is extremely frustrating and poorly managed. I have visited three separate times to have my fingerprints taken, and each time there was no employee available to provide the service. Fingerprinting is already offered at very few locations, so it is unacceptable to repeatedly advertise this service without having trained staff available. Calling ahead is useless because no one answers the phone, which makes it impossible to confirm availability before wasting another trip. Either this location needs to properly staff the services it advertises or stop claiming that fingerprinting is available. Customers should not have to make multiple unnecessary trips because employees are unavailable and the phone is consistently ignored. This facility needs serious improvement in both staffing and customer service.

  Tried to get ahold of a person for 30 minutes horrible customer services on the phone couldn't even speak to a real person!!
