- CSCarol SchmitzMar 12, 20215.07-30-25... I recently went out of town and placed a hold on my mail.. On the card I requested mail to be delivered on date.. Today, no delivery.. I tried to call the post office, but could only get the dam automated system.. This is not the first time they have not delivered held mail past the delivery date.. 3-19-2021.. I recently put a laminated note on the mailbox.."Close Door Tight".. Sure enough the note is ignored...door left open again today... For the most part no problem with the post office and staff,,, but the carrier that delivers on S Meridian has a problem with closing a mailbox. Not unusual to have the box left open and mail wet... Todays rain was heavy and mail was soaked..
