- KKKsgirl09May 8, 20261.0We had an 8:30 closing this morning in Great Bend. We live 50 miles away and my parents live about 65. We arrived 10 minutes early and Pam, the title agent said, she sent us an email this morning🙄 (you mean to one person 5 minutes ago) What time did she think we left to arrive at 8:20 and live an hour away? Anyway, she did not have the funding ready, and so we will wait until next week sometime and make another 100 mile plus round trip. She had EVERY opportunity the day before, when she knew she did not have funding, to notify all parties. She did not do that. She waited until 5 minutes before we arrived and of course how negligent of us not to check our email while pulling up to the front door. She was rude, made excuses and overall I was completely unimpressed with American Title. We will see when we actually get funded. This is the perfect example of how not to do a closing.
