  First, I want to say that Zimmer Biomet is a great place to work. My issue is not with the company itself, but with the staffing agency, Adecco. In my experience, the staffing agency was dismissive and unprofessional. It was very difficult to get a response from anyone unless they were the ones reaching out to me. I was recently let go because my background check came back five weeks after I had already started working. During that time, I turned down another job offer to work at Zimmer Biomet through Adecco because it was closer to my home. Had I known my criminal history would become an issue, I would have accepted the other job instead. This process creates unnecessary hardship for people who have made mistakes in the past but have worked hard to turn their lives around. Before hiring people, putting them through training, giving them on-the-job experience, and creating hope for a long-term opportunity, staffing agencies should complete the background check first. If someone has a lengthy criminal history that could disqualify them from employment, they should be told upfront during the interview process. I was never asked about my criminal history, nor was I informed that if something appeared on my background check three to five weeks later, Adecco could terminate my employment immediately. If I had been told this from the beginning, I would have had no problem being open and honest about my background. I have a family of six to support, and I don't have time to invest weeks into a job only to lose it because of a delayed background check. The situation was especially disappointing because I turned down another employment opportunity to accept this position. My hope is that Adecco improves its hiring process by completing background checks before employees begin work or, at the very least, being transparent about the possibility of termination if the background check reveals disqualifying information after employment has already started. That would allow applicants to make informed decisions and avoid unnecessary hardship

  They were helpful with any calls or texts I had by phone, even after orientation. Valerie and the other associates guided me thru the orientation process wonderfully. Thank you !

  THE WORST STAFFING AGENCY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH! Terminated me within 43 mins of me not replying fast enough and it was 2 hours before I had went in for my next shift with them. After me replying and saying that I just seen the message me and saying that I was coming in and it was a misunderstanding they ignored that and replied the next day 17 hours later asking when I could come and get my stuff. I was so confused and lost for words how they could do that to me all because I didn’t respond to a question quickly enough,!now I am out of a job and have no idea how to pay my bills and am on the verge of losing my house. I’ve worked with plenty of agencies this one has to be the most insensitive uncompassionate I’ve ever worked for.

  They hired me without even doing a background check on me then when it finally did go thru they fired me after I already been working for 2 weeks and to top it off they never paid me for ANY of my work!!!! I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their very unprofessional and unorganized
