I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this USPS location today. The supervisor on duty acted in a way that I found both unprofessional and concerning.
I politely requested to take a quick photo of my own envelope after postage was applied, solely to document the tracking number and the condition of the mailing. I was denied this request and told that it was “against the rules,” without any clear explanation or reference to an actual policy.
To my understanding, a post office is a public-facing federal facility, and customers should not be arbitrarily restricted from photographing their own property—especially when it does not interfere with operations or violate anyone’s privacy. The manner in which this was handled felt excessive and dismissive.
This situation reflects either a misunderstanding of customer rights or a lack of proper training. I strongly recommend that this supervisor receive additional training on USPS policies, customer interaction, and the balance between security and public rights. Situations like this erode trust and create unnecessary conflict.
USPS plays a critical role in public service, and interactions like this should reflect professionalism, clarity, and respect—not confusion and restriction.
Very disappointing experience.

One cannot get a hold of a human being to assist them in your robot calling. This is unacceptable thank you for allowing me to place my opinion here.

I’ve never considered reviewing a post office before but this one is worth it. So much better than the one near my house, the wait was minimal even on a mid-December day. And the help at the counter was excellent, professional, friendly, and fast. Incredibly glad to have this resource, especially considering it’s less than a mile from my new place of employment.
