  I cannot express how wonderfully patient the current employees are at this Fedex location. I traveled to the hotel for a conference and forgot my blazer at home. Yes, I had to pay the $10 "handling" fee to have the item taken from the JW front desk to the Fedex, but that's a Fedex requirement - not just something this site tacks on. The Fedex guy graciously opened and disposed of my Amazon box and cut off the tags so I could pop my new blazer on before heading out to the conference. THEN I accidently shipped my next order to this site instead of my home. The Fedex staff has graciously taken my phone callS and emailS as we try to brainstorm a solution. They could not have been more patient or supportive and I am very, very grateful for their assistance.

  I had three small packages sent to the hotel to pick up during my stay. To my horror, I was charged $50 and handling fees. I am not a commercial customer nor am I here for any event related to the conference center yet I have been charged commercial fees. I expressed my concerns to the manager on duty. He was he did nothing to help with my satisfaction as it relates to the experience of my stay here at JW Marriott. He did not ask my name nor my room number nor did he address me by my name. My experience with JW Marriott has been very negatively influenced by the outrageous fees charged to me for small personal packages whose value was actually less than $50. I am now quite sure that I will not be extending my stay here by one day as I had planned , nor will I book at JW Marriott again. My experience here has been marred by Fed-Ex.

  Stopped to ship a box today. The nice lady asked if I wanted FedEx air or ground. When she told me the pricing I selected ground shipping for $35. She rang up the total of $61. I suggested there had been a mistake made. She explained that since this was a convenience location and not a regular FedEx office, the handling fee was $25 on top of the shipping. So yes, FedEx can ship cross country for $35, but the Marriott think they should get a 71% markup to have a hotel location. Avoid this major rip off. FedEx really needs to clamp down on this price gouging!
