The lady at the desk was very nice, but I was disappointed by the experience. I had a package to ship using a QR code, and when I explained that to her, she said she would let me do it “just this one time” and that I needed to use the self-service kiosk next time. The issue is that there was already a woman at the self-service kiosk with multiple boxes, tape, and other shipping supplies spread everywhere, so it was obvious she was going to be there for quite a while. I also had my one year old with me, and I simply don’t have 20+ minutes to stand around waiting for a kiosk to become available. I understand wanting customers to use the self-service option when possible, but there should be some flexibility when the kiosk is occupied and someone is just trying to quickly drop off a package with a QR code. The policy feels unnecessarily inconvenient, especially for parents with small children.

I previously left a harsh, jaded review for this usps office, but after taking just a moment to hear out the people who work here, I needed to correct myself. The people who work here do a great job. They obviously have a lot on their plate to do, and are most likely underpaid, but they are still always working. I’m often helped by the same couple staff members when I come in, and they have always made my visit here easier if they could. To my understanding, one of the workers who I see the most, had to give up a vacation recently so they could stay and help. I know if I were in the same spot, I couldn’t be half as nice as she has always been to me. Keep up the great work, I hope one day you guys get the recognition you deserve.

Have video of the person delivering a package. We had registered letters, she was on her phone and never attempted to delivering the registered letters. The lady, instead, left the notice in our mailbox. You never know when you are on security cameras. She left no slip in our mailbox, the only way we knew we had mailbox to pick up was because we have informed delivery.....this is serious! Had we not had informed delivery we would not have known we had mail that needed picked up!
