  I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the balloon department at Staples. I placed an order for balloons for my 50th birthday, scheduled for pickup at 2:00 p.m. the following Saturday after placing the order. Even during checkout, I had concerns. The associate seemed unsure of the process, and they didn’t even have balloon weights that matched my balloons. I asked for a refund at that point, but the employee didn’t know how to process one. My husband convinced me we’d find balloon weights elsewhere, so I kept the order. When I returned at my scheduled pickup time, I immediately noticed my balloons hadn’t even been inflated—they weren’t with the other completed pickup orders. I told three different employees I was there for my order, then waited over 20 minutes while they tried unsuccessfully locate a manager. During that entire time, no one could help me, find my order, or process a refund. I eventually left empty-handed. When I called the store afterward, the manager told me they couldn’t issue a refund over the phone and that I would have to return to the store. They offered to inflate the balloons then, but by that point I no longer had time to wait because the balloons were needed for my birthday celebration. The lack of preparation, poor communication, and inability of the staff to resolve a simple issue turned what should have been an easy pickup into a frustrating experience. I wasted a trip, lost valuable time on an important day, and left without the product I had ordered. I won’t be ordering balloons from Staples again. I go back to pick up my balloons and I could see they weren’t inflated and lined up with the other orders. I told 3 different people I was there for my order pickup and waited 20 min and they still couldn’t find the manager or give me a refund. I left and called and the manager couldn’t even get me a refund unless I went back to the store. They offered to process my order but I didn’t have time to wait.

  Michael saved the day when my 3 year old bumped her head and couldn’t stop crying. He gave her a balloon and offered one to my older daughter as well. Thanks again!

  Could use a remodel or at least some organization. Definitely showing it's age. Great for Amazon returns but thought I'd buy some markers while i was there. Stood at the checkout for about 10min before i up and left. 2 people working returns, another employee doing busy work. ignoring people.

  I came in to have my study guide spiral bound and Zaid completed it quickly and was friendly enough to help me find command strips in the store.

  I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback about one of your associates, Jay, who works in the Party City section at your store. Jay went above and beyond with my recent balloon order. He was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire process. I truly believe he even came in specifically to make sure my order was completed correctly. His customer service skills were exceptional, and his dedication made a huge difference. You are very lucky to have an employee like Jay. I just wanted to make sure his hard work and professionalism were recognized. ☆☆☆☆☆
