I am disgusted. The counter clerk was absolutely miserable and had no problem showing it. His anger and annoyance triggered my PTSD and I was left scared and shaking. The pin pad said my packages were being sent to "Hartford, CT" and when I asked him about this, he was rude and denied that the pin pad said that. The pin pad DID say that, so to tell an innocent paying customer that they are wrong when their honest question was bravely voiced to be sure their belongings were going to the right place, is unreasonable. Essentially, this employee was abusive and purposely intimidating. When I tried to make a joke to cheer him up, he looked at me and said, "You have no idea what suffering is." The entire room heard. It was meant to belittle and embarrass me and it was highly uncalled for. My father not only served in the military, but after leaving became the postmaster of the Springfield, MA location for years. I also currently work with federal employees just like this young man in aim to get them the most of their benefits and retirement. While being this rude to anyone is not OK, to have been so rude to me is almost comical. I absolutely reported him to the USPS. How dare ANYONE in a position of serving the public treat those who need them as a WASTE of time, let alone assume they themselves have not suffered. It took me the entire day to shake this off because it triggered something very serious from my past that involved abusive men JUST LIKE THIS. This guy needs to be fired. This was not an average "negative" interaction. This is grounds for termination. As I stated in my complaint to USPS online, there are plenty of happy people in the world looking for work. Get this guy out of the way so someone else can profit and appropriately contribute to society. Pathetic and disgusting.

I had a very disappointing experience with Justin at this post office. He was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. I brought in packages that needed to be processed, but he seemed unwilling to assist with scanning them or preparing the necessary labels. He took an unnecessarily long time handling customers’ packages and appeared to complain about having to do his job. The entire experience felt frustrating and unprofessional. Customer service should be respectful, efficient, and helpful. If someone is unhappy with their responsibilities, it shouldn’t be taken out on the customers. I hope management addresses this because the service I received was unacceptable. He seems very miserable! Take that attitude somewhere else, don’t be acting like that when you work at a post office 😭😭

Walked in to drop a package off today and the guy just looked at me like I’m an alien. Ask me what I want? I’m so sorry to disturb you from watching your video. I’d like to scan my package so it goes and gets delivered. Oh, you could just put it right there! I’m so sorry i’m making you do your job. Must get paid too much to sit around and do nothing! must be nice.

I initially came to use the kiosk. Label printed out terribly, which is fair- printers sometimes don’t work. My biggest problem with this interaction was the incredibly unprofessional and rude post office worker. She is a blonde woman with a speech impediment, and she could not have been more rude to the customers. She was frustrated because all three printers were down – we totally get it. None of the customers were saying anything, but she was just so unbelievably rude to us that I can’t see myself going back here. Fix the printers because clearly the post office workers can’t handle it. I also wasn’t given the option of a receipt- even an emailed one- so I guess I just have to cross my fingers.
