    BEWARE—DO NOT BRING VALUABLE ITEMS TO THIS LOCATION. On July 6, 2026, I dropped off a new MacBook and its charging cable at the FedEx location near Route 59 and 127th Street in Plainfield. I paid this location to package the computer and provided the shipping label. When the package arrived, the recipient called to tell me that it contained old schoolbooks instead of the MacBook. I was absolutely shocked. Somewhere after I handed my computer to this location, it disappeared and was replaced with books. I filed a formal claim with FedEx three weeks ago and have not received a response or update. I have also repeatedly tried to contact the location’s manager, Shay, but she has not returned my calls. The complete lack of communication and accountability has made this disturbing situation even worse. I trusted FedEx with an expensive computer, and it never reached its destination. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that customers avoid bringing valuable items to this location. I expect FedEx to investigate what happened, review the security footage, respond to my claim, and take responsibility. Shame on you, FedEx. Do better!

    The black American employee working 6/20 at 3:50 pm was rude and could care less about helping he kept giving me short answers most time saying he doesn’t know or he can’t do anything in his end pretty much telling me to just figure it out on my own he kept walking around the store while doing things and talking to me which got me confused the other employees with longer hair I could hear him trying his best to help the other customers I wish he would’ve attended me
