  I have been coming here for several years, and for most of that time, I have found the staff to be helpful and courteous. Unfortunately, over the past two years, I have noticed a gradual decline in the level and consistency of service. One of my biggest concerns is the inconsistency in how the business’s guidelines are applied. The expectations seem to change depending on who is assisting you, and the newest policy appears to be encouraging customers to use self-service. I visited today while the store was busy, as it often is. I waited in line with 10 packages that needed to be scanned. When it was finally my turn, I was told that the staff could not scan my packages and that I was strongly encouraged to use the self-service option because they were busy. I understand that self-service can help manage a busy store, but it should be an option rather than something customers are pressured to use after waiting in line. There were approximately five people in line, and the customers ahead of me were able to have their items processed. The difference appeared to be that I had 10 packages rather than one or two. What I find particularly frustrating is that scanning and accepting packages is part of the service I am paying for. I am willing to pay an additional $0.25–$0.50 per package specifically to avoid having to deal directly with USPS and to have the convenience of having the packages processed for me. I have been a loyal customer for years, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I would appreciate clarification regarding the actual business guidelines surrounding self-service and whether employees are permitted to refuse to scan a customer’s packages simply because the customer has multiple packages. At this point, I plan to contact corporate to verify the official guidelines and determine whether this experience is consistent with company policy. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because I would like to continue being a customer, but the service needs to be more consistent and customer-focused.

  I genuinely have a great experience every time I go to this store. They are knowledgeable, very nice, and efficient - I’m always out in a couple minutes. Highly recommend!
