  Allstate cancel my Auto policy service for $15 late payment which I did not even recognized if I did I would have paid it even though I have a home policy with them should I cancel my home policy just the way they cancel my Auto. Not good customer service for $15 I might just take my home policy somewhere else.

  I had a very disappointing experience with Allstate. I have been paying monthly for a long time, but when I needed help with my boiler and chimney damage, Allstate denied both claims by saying it was “wear and tear.” During the chimney claim, we explained that a tree branch damaged the chimney during a storm, but Allstate made us feel like they were accusing us of lying. The manager also spoke over my husband, refused to transfer us to his supervisor, and said, “You can complain. The complaint will come to me, and I have to make the decision.” We felt dismissed, blamed, and treated very unprofessionally and racist. The claim handler name is Healey & Nick. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Allstate.

  I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Allstate’s handling of my homeowners roof claim. The roof, water intrusion, and related property damage issues at our home have been ongoing for over a year. Although Allstate inspected the property, acknowledged roof damage, applied the wind/hail deductible, and issued partial payment, we still have not received enough to replace the roof or restore our home to its pre-loss condition. Because the claim remains unresolved, our roof has had to stay tarped for an extended period of time, and the tarp has had to be replaced multiple times. The condition of our home has continued to worsen while we have tried to provide the documentation requested. We are now receiving HOA complaints regarding the tarp and honestly feel embarrassed in our neighborhood because we cannot afford to replace the roof ourselves while waiting for this matter to be properly resolved. We submitted estimates, invoices, photographs, and documentation supporting the damage and remediation concerns, and we have continued trying to resolve the claim in good faith. I also have asthma and health concerns, and the continued moisture intrusion and conditions inside the home have been especially stressful. At this point, I am respectfully requesting executive or upper-management review of this claim so that our family can finally have our roof replaced and our home restored properly. We simply want a fair resolution and for Allstate to do what is necessary to return our home to a safe, pre-loss condition. Worse experience of my life!!! May 28, 2026 Update: After posting this review and continuing to request help, Allstate responded that it is unable to extend coverage further, but also stated that we may proceed with appraisal. I am confused and disappointed because Allstate’s own estimate identifies the loss as windstorm and hail, includes approximately 30.76 roof squares, includes roof replacement-related items, includes tarping, applies the wind/hail deductible, and calculates a replacement cost value for the covered items. Our roof still has not been replaced. These roof, water intrusion, tarp, and related property damage issues have been ongoing for over a year. The tarp has had to be replaced multiple times, our home’s condition has worsened, and we are receiving HOA complaints. We cannot afford to replace the roof ourselves while waiting for this claim to be fully resolved. At this point, we are respectfully asking for someone in Allstate upper management or executive claim review to look at the full file and provide a clear explanation of whether this is a coverage issue or an amount-of-loss issue. We simply want a fair resolution so our roof can be replaced and our home restored properly.

  Allstates Encompass insurance company is incredibly slow, indifferent, inconsiderate, rude and incompetent. A massive tree hit my property during a catastrophic wind storm and all they've done is fabricate reasons to delay inspections(they had an adjuster drive from Texas to Pennsylvania instead of using local adjusters as one example), and now after a supplemental inspections on 5/7 (waited 2 weeks for appt) they still refuse to cover brick damage caused by the tree even with an invoice, receipts for materials and photos proving extent of damage. Avoid this company and their parent company Allstate.

  I'm writing this review, cause I have a Allstate account, I just recently had my renters insurance renewed, and I have to say , not pleased that the things I work so hard to have accumulated, Allstate doesn't want to cover my items that I worked so hard on , I find this not ok , especially when we are paying a premium, to have our valued items , covered and insured, I'm all about finding a just cause of is what's right and just , when it comes to insured customers, Allstate sent me a bill of rights , online and if Businesses, Insurance Companies, did what was in the bill of rights , we wouldn't have these issues, problems " going forward " ...as a Customer we do have rights " ..and we have laws that protect our rights " ...I would like Allstate to look over their insurance policy " ..moving. forward, ...Thank You , Susan M ...
