  My experience with PrideStaff in Lockport, Illinois, has been extremely disappointing. I completed their application process, provided copies of my Social Security card and driver’s license, and was sent to a job interview. Afterward, I went nearly two months without meaningful communication, despite repeatedly reaching out for updates. When I finally raised concerns about the personal information they had collected, I was contacted about another potential position. I completed the required drug test and was specifically told by the recruiter that if I purchased steel-toe boots and provided a picture of them, I was guaranteed to start work on Monday. I spent approximately $40 on the boots and even drove back to the office to show them to the recruiter. Monday arrived, and I received no reporting instructions or start time. My calls went unanswered, I was placed on hold, and I was eventually told they would contact me when they heard from their client. Why guarantee someone a start date and have them spend money preparing for a job if the assignment has not been confirmed? I have also contacted the agency requesting a written explanation of how my personal identification documents are being stored and protected. People applying through staffing agencies are looking for employment, not additional financial burdens and uncertainty. I am sharing my experience so other job seekers can make informed decisions. I hope PrideStaff takes these concerns seriously, improves its communication with applicants, and provides a resolution.

  My experience at/with this place was great overall, the energy was there soon as you walk through the door!! The team working within the office is amazing and want everyone to elevate/progress in their journey to achieve success in their search of a job/career! Very much thankful for the opportunity.

  Terrible. This supposed staffing company has its applicants complete the onboarding phase without a job position in place. The "recruiters" do not find interviews thereafter. A very much waste of valuable time.
