The staff at this location is always very helpful and are procedurally focused. The are knowledgeable and efficient. The line always moves so the wait is not long.

Henry at USPS went above and beyond to help me sort out a shipping issue, walking me through every option with patience and clarity. I walked in frustrated after a long morning and somehow left with a smile on my face thanks to his attitude. Henry is a true expert in his craft and the kind of employee that makes you actually look forward to a post office visit. -John

The worst! Clerk refused my package due to brown parcel tape used, insane! She claims they only accept clear tape now! 😝 Never had a problem before.

I had five packages that were labeled and ready to go. The lady at the window only looked at me when I explained, and asked if it was ok to give them to her. I handed her two and said I would be back with the others and she rolled her eyes. At the end I said thank you and she ignored me. How hard is it to be decent to customers?

If I could not give a star I would. Today, I came in at 11:40am on a Saturday (post office closes at 12pm) to send an important renewal passport mail to Canada. We were seen by a clerk lady and sent to take a pamphlet from the many out of the wall, not easy to find. Same lady that takes care of the American passports in an unhelpful way, being rude even. After filling out addresses, we came back to her to be told that they do not track mails after the boarder on the Canada side which is annoying but not her fault. We then decided we would not track it and just go with it as it was, but she said she would not have time anyhow today because it was too late… it was 11:50am. She said quoting: “there is no way I have enough time to fill in everything in 10 minutes so you’d have to come back or go to another post office.” She then pointed us to Libertyville who stayed opened later. What?? Typing two addresses takes 10 minutes?? What is this joke? And they cannot track our letter with a passport in it until the arrival of the letter… Not even to say, she was not smiling, and not feeling sorry to not helping us at ALL. Why even starting the process at all at 11:40am then? We decided to go to UPS store where we got amazing service, paid just a little more, was 2 minutes away not like going to Libertyville. Well, this was the last time I was coming to Lake Forest USPS. That’s for sure!!
