- LWL “NMI” WMar 23, 20165.0I received a book in the mail on a Friday, I did not recognize the sender and was not expecting it. I assumed it was one of those companies who send you books unsolicited and then expect you to pay for it. Disgusted, I scratched my name and address out and marked return to sender and dropped it in a mail box. On Monday my cousin called and asked if I'd received the book he'd ordered through Amazon as a gift for me. OOPS! I contacted the Kewanee post office and told them my story. The postal employee was understanding and said there was not much they could do if the package had been shipped, but he took my name and address just in case. Meanwhile, my cousin spoke with Amazon about it and Amazon said, "wow, this is a tough one." The next day Kewanee Post Office left the book on my doorstep - even with all of my address information scratched out. THANK YOU KEWANEE Post Office! :)
