  Very disappointing experience. I arrived about 15 minutes before the posted closing time with two packages that were already labeled and ready to be shipped. I only needed to drop them off behind the counter and was not trying to make a retail purchase or get help with anything. The employee had already locked the gate and would not let me in because the line was long. I understand that employees need to manage the line before closing, but turning someone away 15 minutes before the posted closing time when they only need to drop off prepaid packages seems unreasonable. I hope management addresses this and makes sure customers are able to complete simple package drop-offs during the posted business hours.

  The worst experience ever. The lady working at this location needs to be replaced as soon as possible. She is so rude with clients and doesn’t want to do her work. I never seen a service like that.

  This Gunnison location is the WORST location. As a customer who pays a lot of money for a post box here, they are never open during their posted business hours! I've shown up many times the past few yrs to them being closed, dark inside and no posted sign with any reason. Ms Williams the manager is rude and always makes doing business here a terrible experience. Please hire new staff that want to work and will actually show up during open business hours. Every employee here acts like you are a bother to them for wanting to do business here. This is such a nice quiet area to have such a terrible post office.

  This is for the Gunnison location. I knew better than to come to this post office since all the negative reviews seem to be for this location. All I had was a quick drop off. I get there at 10am and they are closed. Lights off dark inside when they should’ve been open at 9am. Several people waiting they said since 9am. I took an uber there and now had to get another ride to my usual post office. Something that was supposed to be a quick and easy run to the post office ended up costing me $40 on uber ride cause I had to go to 2 different location. Do us a favor if nobody wants to work at this location just close it already.
