- DBDanny Bailey4 days ago1.0I am writing this after my 100th experience with this facility failing to perform the basic function of a post office. Once again, my package has been trapped in a loop of inefficiency. According to the tracking, my package arrived at the Hanover Park facility, departed, was sent to Elgin, and was then sent right back to Hanover Park—all while the status remains stuck in 'in transit' purgatory. It is baffling that a facility tasked with local distribution can be this consistently disorganized. Packages are routinely rerouted between facilities, missing delivery windows while being held hostage in the local network. When you contact them, there is zero accountability; they seem entirely indifferent to the fact that they are failing to deliver mail on time, again and again. If you have the choice, avoid having your mail routed through this location at all costs. This isn't just an occasional error; it is a systemic, operational failure. This office is arguably one of the worst in the country for reliability, and frankly, they act like they couldn't care less if your mail ever actually reaches your doorstep.

He put it in my neighbors mailbox and quickly gave it back to us. I am so grateful for you guys fixing the problem quickly, we're human and we make mistakes. The woman on the phone was very nice too, I believe she said her name was Bernadette. Thankyou guys!

Also, the USPS driver around my block of neighborhood misplaced my package onto someone else's doorstep and marked it as "Delivered" in the tracker section. USPS should give a complete full address when they plan to mark "Delivered" so the recipient could know where to go if a mistake like this happens...
