I typically send stuff to my daughter in college often. When I visited the Gilbert’s Post Office, a black woman behind the counter greeted me. She was a bit aggressive in her treatment towards me. I wrote something wrong and she stopped be, and when I said I’d fix it she grabbed it and aggressively highlighted it over and over, as if I were stupid. When I eventually got frustrated, I told her that I would just not send the post because I would be late to pick up my son from preschool. She looked at me like I was crazy and yelled at me to not scream at her, when I didn’t. For context, I am an Asian woman. This is the third time she’s been weird towards me, and it feels like it has racist undertones. She tends to act racist towards Asian people.

When I visited the post office, I asked about the little paper that you typically stick on boxes that says “from” and “to”. This lady refused to give me the paper and told me to just write it on the box. She also ignored me for most of the time, eating something behind the counter. It made me frustrated.
