  I had a very disappointing experience at the Staples in Forsyth. I stood at the print counter for several minutes while the employee was helping another customer with a print-on-demand order. During that entire time, she never acknowledged me or even made eye contact. The customer she was helping actually told her multiple times to go ahead and help me since I was waiting. Each time, she responded with, “No, it’s fine. He can wait.” I finally spoke up and explained that I was only there to pick up an order that had already been printed and paid for. She replied that the other customer had been waiting too. I explained that I understood, but he had already suggested she help me because she was having trouble with his order, while mine simply needed to be handed to me. She then asked for my name, found my order, and handed it to me without any apology or courtesy. Ironically, the other customer was far more considerate than the employee. Customer service starts with acknowledging people and communicating with them, even if it’s just to say, “I’ll be with you in a moment.” Unfortunately, that didn’t happen here. This experience left me with a very poor impression of the customer service at this Staples location.

  I met the nicest young lady. Her husband got laid off so he's playing lone ranger with their two boys. She was very nice. Thanks.

  I went into the store yesterday to buy an office chair. When I asked the employee if it was in stock, he said it was not. Then he runs away and didn’t seem like he wanted to help. The chairs WERE in stock around the corner. (I was buying a La-Z-Boy office chair; how fitting that the help was lazy!). Then I went to the counter, and two ladies were at the print center just laughing and laughing and not coming to help customers, as there was a long line. I finally was able to get checked out, but with the large box, no one offered to help load. I did it myself and about busted my knuckles, as the large box smashed my hand against the cart. Thankfully, there was another customer coming out of the store that was willing to help a frustrated customer! Customer service skills seem to be lost these days. Learn what products are on the floor instead of just rushing past. SAD! I was more ambitious than the employee matching the SKU’s, but I’m not paid to do that. That’s the job of the employee! I’ll find another office supply store to shop at. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
