  I went into the store yesterday to buy an office chair. When I asked the employee if it was in stock, he said it was not. Then he runs away and didn’t seem like he wanted to help. The chairs WERE in stock around the corner. (I was buying a La-Z-Boy office chair; how fitting that the help was lazy!). Then I went to the counter, and two ladies were at the print center just laughing and laughing and not coming to help customers, as there was a long line. I finally was able to get checked out, but with the large box, no one offered to help load. I did it myself and about busted my knuckles, as the large box smashed my hand against the cart. Thankfully, there was another customer coming out of the store that was willing to help a frustrated customer! Customer service skills seem to be lost these days. Learn what products are on the floor instead of just rushing past. SAD! I was more ambitious than the employee matching the SKU’s, but I’m not paid to do that. That’s the job of the employee! I’ll find another office supply store to shop at. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

  I heard about Staples having Amazon liquidation 'bins', aka Amazon returns, stating big discounts on electronics, tools, small appliances, and was greatly disappointed. Went there on Friday which is supposed to be their restock day, and found nothing but trash. Went back every couple of days trying to give them time to put new items out, and it was all the same trash just rearranged. Failure to launch is an understatement.. but hey they still have office supplies.

  Waited in line for 10 minutes while a waiting for the employee to help the man in front of me while 2 fellow employees sat back laughing and carrying on and another employee at the checkout. One of the ladies got up and walked across. The way and loudly yelled across the store “do you know where the stool is I need to sit down”. The man referred her to where the stool was and the lady walked out of the building to go out in front of the building to smoke a cigarette. The employee was almost finished helping the man in front of me as he waited for copies he asked if he could help me. I said yes I have an Amazon shipping for the employee to direct me to the checkout aisle and reported that is where you take care of that at. I felt there was 4 employee and 1 only helping customers while the others where hanging out. I feel my time was wasted when someone could have helped me much sooner and got me out of the store. The employee was more worried about finding a stool to sit down and go smoke and forget about the customers. The male employee that was helping the man in front of me was working diligently.
