  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this FedEx location. The employee insisted that I had to list my personal name and home address as the shipper, even though I was shipping a package on behalf of my company to one of our customers. I explained multiple times that this was a business shipment, paid for with the company's credit card, and that the package should show my company's name and business address as the sender. Instead of listening, he repeatedly told me, "You're standing here, so you're the shipper. That's our policy." Not only is this incorrect, it creates an unnecessary privacy concern. Requiring a business owner or employee to put their personal home address on a package exposes private information to customers for no legitimate reason. That is unprofessional and unacceptable. What made the experience worse was the employee's attitude. Rather than checking with a supervisor or verifying the policy, he acted as though there was no possibility he was mistaken. Good customer service means recognizing when there is uncertainty and taking a moment to confirm the correct procedure instead of confidently giving customers inaccurate information. FedEx needs to do a better job training employees on basic shipping policies. I wasted time arguing over something that should have been straightforward.   When another shipper returned important papers looking like they had been run over with several pages missing, I went to FedEx and they were delivered in 2 days for half the price. I don't know about boxes, but for documents, this is the place to go.
