I use this post office out of convenience, but I absolutely dread going as I know I am in for a terrible customer service experience. This time the lady insisted that what I thought were 2 letters and could be mailed with first class stamps, were classified as packages and she charged me over $6 to mail them ( which I reluctantly paid as I needed them mailed ) . Turns out if its under 1 oz and less than 1/4 inch thick it can indeed go as a letter.

- AVAlex VJun 14, 20171.0Outrageus. Relaxed to the point of a grinding stop. I mailed a Priority envelope to Springfield, IL with time sensitive documentation, usually takes a DAY from any normal post office in the suburbs. Obviously, these employees dont know how to read so they put it on the truck going to a sorting facility in Wisconsin. Then it took a scenic route to another sorting facility in MO. Its been a week and the package is still on the way.
