Like every other post office only 1 person working the counter. Slow service takes forever to get anything done

I visited this USPS location on May 28, 2026, at approximately 5:25 PM. I had a very disappointing experience with customer service. I came in with a small package and a prepaid shipping label, and the employee refused to help attach the label. The interaction was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. As a customer, I expect basic courtesy and assistance, especially for a simple request. Instead, I was treated in a way that left me upset and nearly in tears. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had. USPS should provide better customer service training and ensure customers are treated with respect.

On May 26th around 5:30 p.m., I had an extremely disrespectful experience at this USPS. I arrived at 5:30, and though closing was at 6 (we all waited at least 30 minutes), the employee became increasingly rude as time passed. A 13-year-old struggled with the self-service machine (who also arrived maybe 5 minutes after me) and got back in line at 6pm, and when I tried to support her, he dismissed her harshly telling her he would not take her service because they were closed (even after her saying she wasn’t sure how to use it because she was only 13 and never used it before. He then made her cry by his harshness as she began to leave). I was then cut off from being served myself, simply because I spoke up. He refused service, threatened to call the police, and another customer even said they had faced his rudeness before. This behavior was completely unacceptable and inhumane. I sincerely hope management addresses it.

Went there at 5:50, they say they close at 6. Somehow I was able to go inside up to the counter but no one was at the counter and they had signs on the counter that said closed.

While I read all the reviews for this post office, I have to laugh. I see so many complaints about the employees. I go there frequently and have never had an issue with any employees. They are always very courteous to me. Sometimes when I am in a hurry and there is a longer line, I will use the self-service station. No one showed me how to use it. It walks you through menus as to what is needed. Weighs the package and gives you shipping options. The employees here do not deliver your mail. They take your prepackaged items to assist with postage; how much it will cost for your different options. They are not Packaging experts. They are not trained in how to package your items. (that I am aware of) They are there to assist you with the options for shipping and postage. Assuming most people would know who, the package is being shipped to and where they live for the return address. But reading some reviews it is quite questionable to me the common knowledge to ship a letter or package. Who you are and who it is going to. Go to Youtube: Search: how to mail a package at the post office. There are many videos to help if you do not know how to send a package or letter. I have never done their job. I can see sometimes they are doing other things than assisting customers. Does this mean they need to stop their jobs tasks? For just one week try to put yourself in their place. I do work in customer service and would like to believe that I do a very good job. Unfortunately, I/you cannot please everyone. There are rules and regulations at USPS. They are doing their best to assist all customers. Please give them a break and be kind. kindness is contagious
