- RLRicky LampeFeb 19, 20251.0East Moline post office needs to hire more people. Yesterday I didn't get mail until after 6pm I saw the postman deliver it with a light on his forehead while driving. Today it's almost 4pm and still no mail.we are lucky to see our mail every day before 3:30 or 4pm. I think this is ridiculously bad service. Get more people for god sake!

Trying to get anything accomplished over the phone would be laughable..if it wasn't so slow and constantly picked up background noise making that section have to start over. 30 min with their automated and still was nowhere.

I used to get my mail delivered to the house, but got a po box after the letter carrier felt it unnecessary to close the lid on the box. My mail was on the ground, in my front yard ,more than once. My husband had a 1k check stolen. I contacted the post office, with no results, of course. All we got was excuses. In the last month, I've had USPS packages 'delivered' to my house, when they should be in a locker at the post office I pay for. Of course, the packages aren't there. This week, I was expecting a new modem, but it never arrived. As soon as I received the notice it was delivered, I went out to look for it..nothing. I checked the security camera, and no one put anything in that mailbox. Nothing at the post office either. Its really shines a bad light on the post office. Sad, really.

Then when I got to post office to pick it up they lose my mail. ARE THEY GETTING PAID OR IS THIS VOLUNTEER WORK. This bs happens on a regular kinda pathetic.
