- BKBill KihnAug 6, 20261.0I’ve been to the Downers Grove Post Office multiple times and keep running into the same problems. The computer system is frequently down (they tell you to just use the self-serve kiosk), employees are often nowhere to be found, and they’ve been out of basic stamps more than once. When things are running for them, there’s almost guaranteed a massive wait time. It’s frustrating how many basic issues this location has. I regularly go to other nearby post offices afterward and never run into these kinds of problems. Not sure what’s going on here, but the service is consistently poor. Save yourself the time and go directly to a post office in a neighboring town.
