Youre able to schedule notary services online regardless if theres a notary in or not.
Call ahead if you dont want your time wasted. But also why even have the feature if nothing is honored?

I think I had the same person that everyone else here has complained about. She is almost a caricature of rudeness. The blank stare, audible sigh and gesture when it's your turn, not responding to "hello"...it would be fine if she were helpful, but it was clear I'd have to go elsewhere to find out UPS shipping options for oversize packages. It's the kind of interaction that makes you genuinely concerned for a person's emotional well-being.
There is an elderly woman working there who has an absolutely terrible attitude. The person ahead of me appeared to be deaf or mute; he seemed to be having an issue with a package—specifically, it belonged to a different courier service—but returns for that service are actually accepted at this location. She repeatedly insisted to him that he couldn't return it there and had to go elsewhere, yet in the end, the return was successfully processed right there. I was praying that I wouldn't end up at her window for my own return, but that is exactly where the line led me. She told me that my return slip was illegible, couldn't be scanned, and therefore couldn't be processed. However, I didn't leave; instead, I asked the young man at the adjacent counter for help. He was more than happy to assist me; he simply entered my tracking number, and everything was resolved very quickly. Meanwhile, she kept shaking her head, sighing incessantly, and even muttering insults under her breath. If she is so unwilling to work, she should just go home and retire.
Luis, the staff made my day! My return package was originially going to cost me $79, due to its size and distance. I was originally served by another staff, but he moved on to another customer. Luis stepped in after he finished helping a customer next to me. He took the extra mile to help me switch packaging and brought my shipping fee down to $53. Attentive care. Awesome service. He deserves to be Employee of the Year for his dligience, politeness, and putting customers' needs first.
