  Store looks like it hasn’t been actually managed in Months. Bathroom is a filthy mess.

  On two different occasions, the same woman at the returns counter ignored a simple 'hello', and rather than saying 'May I please scan your QR code?', just stood there holding the scanner up in silence. On the next visit, I had a 'Happy Returns' item, but didn't realize there was a separate returns counter for that. When it was my turn in line, she said only 'This is the Amazon returns line; that's a Happy Return.' I had to explicitly ask where that counter was. The man working there wasn't much better, not even acknowledging 'Thank you.' I understand not being a people person, because I'm not one myself, but a customer-facing role still requires a bare minimum of courtesy. I won't come here again unless I have no other option.

  What a joke this place was. Dirty floors, trash on the floors. Walked to check out, employee on her phone, paying no attention to the customers. The dollar tree is cleaner and more organized. After we walked around and went to the register that was lit up, the preoccupied employee directed us to her. She checked us out, didn’t even give us the receipt ( we ripped it off ourselves) and off she was to her phone again. As always I ask myself, what is wrong with this younger generation. How frustrating! Do better people!!!!!

  I only stopped in briefly this afternoon, but I had to leave a review because everyone in this store was very kind. I wanted to give a shout out to the woman at the register. I didn’t catch her name, but my receipt says my cashier was 3073229. She was wonderful to interact with made the day of every customer she spoke to.

  While we all have bad days, as someone who works in a customer service setting. The staff do a wonderful job in making you feel as an inconvenience. . I stop by Staples specifically for returning my Amazon orders because Kohl’s can be backed up at times. I’ll be going back to Kohls for all my Amazon returns. I might have to wait a little longer but at least the customer service is stronger there. (which I’m sure won’t be an issue anyway to the staff here as the staff at this Staples are cold, hostile and uninviting) I also thought they offered Coupons to come back and redeem in the store, after returning your Amazon returns? This was the first time I wasnt given a coupon, not a big deal..however the customer service you receive here is comparable to the customer service you receive at the DMV in Champaign. Yes we all have bad days but good customer service represents a good company image and helps you retain customers.
