  I’m reliant on staples for doing my own business, and wish I had another option. The store is trashed, and keeps going more and more downhill each time I go in weekly at this point. The newly hired young brunette man was rude to me - I asked if they had a plastic wrap product, and he opened my print order to show it to me. I went to put the order back in its bag and he said “MA’AM PLEASE LEAVE THIS HERE UNTIL YOU HAVE PAID” even though I had no intention or motion of walking away. He then talked loudly in my face for the duration of checkout, which I didn’t respond to, and I could not wait to leave. I don’t know what it’ll take to save this sad store but a lot of people need jobs - maybe hiring a lot of staff would help.

  Steeple’s Office Store at Prospect Avenue in Champaign, Illinois, is one of the worst business centers I’ve ever experienced. Their printing service is completely broken. You cannot print from your own device and are forced to use their single computer, which creates long lines. I paid six dollars and forty-two cents but was unable to print my document. If you try to send your document through their email system, you’re often told you must return the next day to pick it up. It feels like they intentionally removed the photocopying machine just to force customers to spend more time and money on their computer. Many people, especially older customers, cannot remember their email passwords because they’re saved on their phones or home computers. This setup makes the whole process unnecessarily difficult. The customer service was also very poor. One staff member stared me down and made me feel unwelcome the moment I walked in. This experience was frustrating, inefficient, and disrespectful. I came from Los Angeles and was truly shocked by the level of service at this location. I went to the library in Champaign to print documents, and I was blown away by the kindness of the staff. They helped me connect everything, and I ended up printing 5 pages for only 6 cents! It was affordable, easy, and a genuinely pleasant experience. Highly recommend the library for your printing needs!

  I do my best to support local businesses ... I sent over a flyer yesterday with directions and my phone number attached ... did not recieve a call at all ... then I called this morning and was told he will try to get it done and that orders sent in by email are not prioritized over other orders that come in ... definitely both times I went in it wasn't the greatest customer service given to me ... Not sure if he always has a bad day or if he just has and issue with me ... if so I would like to know what it is and if he would prefer I use another establishment for my printing needs? Just let me know because I am a pleasent person with good vibes and energy 🙂
