- RFRae Fox3 days ago1.0Worst post office in southern illinois. I waited fifteen minutes after they supposedly opened, rang the bell multiple times before someone finally opened the window and told me that the clerk had not shown up to work yet and so they couldn't open. Waited another ten minutes, and then just went to the post office across town. Absolutely ridiculous.

The inspector general has been notified of ongoing problems. The postmaster just says “we’ll talk to your carrier” as if it’s just the carrier and not someone else in the USPS.
