  The last 4 times I’ve been there, there’s been no clerk. So inconvenient.

  We are receiving late mai, mail delivered to the wrong address and mail left on our hall table oppose to being placed in the individual mailboxes. Our Ring cam has even caught one carrier toss all the mail on the table. I went to the post office Friday to address the problem and discovered that our blue island station shuts down from 12:30pm to 3:30pm daily. For all remaining work hours there's only one clerk assigned daily to serve the walk-ins at the window. This is unacceptable.

  Today I went to drop of my passport application for the very first time. I took all my documents in my hand didn't have an envelope I thought I can purchase one there. Well the clerk who help me was very nice she took my documents and took my payment. I asked her when can I check if my application was received she told me about a week. All was OK so I left. When I got to my car I felt uneasy because I didn't see her putting my documents in an envelope so I started to feel uneasy about leaving my very important docs with her because I didn't see them being put in an envelope. So I checked online to see if can send them priority mail so I have a tracker. So I went back only this time the other clerk who was there told me they sent them which I know they do but I told her I wanted to make sure I had tracking for my documents. She kept talking to me in a very rude voice like talking down to me. Saying they sent them out. I left feeling worse then the first time I walked out. How do I know my documents won't end up lost, stolen or forged if they have people working behind the counter with horrible customer service and attitude. The post office needs to conduct better interviews and not put unprofessional people like her to handle customers. I was not being rude or talking to her with an attitude for her to talk to me in that way. Instead of reassuring me that my documents are safe with them she made me feel the opposite. Please people make sure you stay in the counter until they finish filling out the application and you see it sealed in an envelope.

  The head of the Office is rude, defensive and clueless. Our carrier is undependable. Used to have a gentleman that was here everyday at 11:00 am give or take 10 minutes. Replaced him with a woman that delivers between 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. I've gotten mail at 7:00 p.m.! Hope they're not paying this nitwit o.t.! Called her boss and she was extremely defensive. Lived here 60 years, sad to see ot go so far down. The inside service is a joke. It's Christmas time. Went today, they had a long line and ONE cretin working!
