Meg was wonderful and made a stressful post-office visit so much easier. She was patient, helpful, and guided us through everything when we weren’t sure what to do. We really appreciated her kindness and professionalism.

My experience at this USPS location was really unpleasant. I came with my partner to apply for my child’s passport, and from the moment we arrived, one of the employees treated us in an extremely rude and abrupt manner.
We arrived politely, said good morning, and were in a good mood and ready to complete our paperwork correctly. However, the way this employee spoke to us made us feel very uncomfortable. I completely understand that working with the public can be stressful, but that does not justify treating people poorly when they are simply there to receive a service.
What surprised me the most was that, after our experience, another young woman who was behind us came in with her baby in her arms to ask a question, and the same employee also spoke to her and yelled at her in a very disrespectful way. My partner and I actually felt uncomfortable and bad for her just witnessing the way she was being treated.
If someone does not feel comfortable working with the public, perhaps they should consider finding a job where they do not have to interact with customers, because this kind of attitude does not only affect one customer—it creates an uncomfortable environment for everyone.
I sincerely hope management takes this situation seriously and looks into the way customers are being treated. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect, especially when we come in politely and with a positive attitude.

You could definitely sense some tension between the two employees who assisted us today, which made the experience feel uncomfortable and awkward. I also didn’t appreciate being questioned about whether or not I wanted my passport expedited. That is a personal decision and, in my opinion, really isn’t anyone else’s business. Overall, the interaction could have been handled in a much more professional and respectful manner.

Meg was the most helpful, kindest worker I have ever encountered. She is a wonderful example of someone who cares about others and wants the help.

So I sent a very important document through this post office and I sent it certified. I sent it on July 8th and fast forward to today, it’s still not there. So I faxed it today at the library and that cost me $17. So I was told by the USPS when I called the national number that my $ could be refunded. So I came to this post office today and the Asian lady told me she couldn’t help me then gave me a number to call. I go in the car and call the number and it’s to this post office! Really? I go back inside and now she tells me the post master is there she’s just outside. Long story short the post master refunded all of my $. I am very happy that the post master, EVELYN was so nice but the Asian lady tried to block my refund and I did not appreciate that at all.
