No wonder folks want to defund the USPS. The Postmaster should be ashamed and step down from her position.
- BMBill ManosOct 22, 20223.0So there have been a lot of changes at this post office over the last couple of years. New staff is hit or miss with their professionalism. Hours are really unacceptable…. If someone works a normal 9-5 job, they only have 1 hour on Saturday to pick up packages. Even with the package lock boxes in the post office box area, most packages are held behind the counter. Still don’t understand how the whole post office shuts down for lunch(ever heard of staggering lunch hours of employees to be more convenient for the customers) New management has also taken out the shred bins. The first excuse they used is that the company truck broke down…. that obviously was just an excuse to get people use to not having it around anymore. So since new management has come in, the local residents are getting a revolving door of new post office employees, who vary in their professionalism….less service (no shred bins for the junk mail we never asked to be put in boxes anyway) and the same inconvenient hours. *Update* April 2024 Staff seems to be staying the same now & are more professional than the others they had during the transition from the older lady that was in charge to this new lady. Still the same inconvenient hours, even though the population probably doubled since these original hours were put into effect. There seems to be more junk mail than even and still no shred bin for it. (That convenience is obviously gone forever)
