- JBJames Mace's Legionary Bookstoday5.0Hi quality work, efficient service, and very affordable. They worked with me to create the exact banner I needed for my vendor stall at Ren Faire, sending proofs and making revisions in a timely manner. The banner itself is quite durable, the colours more vibrant than I was expecting. They even did a rush order of book marks for me, which proved very popular at the event. Adding a QR code to my Amazon Author's Page was a nice touch. Even with the initial design fees, the cost was far less than I'd anticipated. I highly recommend AlphaGraphics and will be using them again.
- SCStephanie Crawford2 days ago5.0AlphaGraphics was absolutely wonderful to work with and I was not an easy customer. I had so many revisions due to my vision changing regularly. They were so incredibly patient with me. The outcome of our customer "Thank You" cards was beautiful. I picked them up in person and the staff was so professional and courteous. Would recommend AlphaGraphics to anyone looking for a printing company.
- EBEmily Balluff3 days ago5.0We had a fairly complex project with a tight turnaround, and AlphaGraphics made it happen for us. We were very impressed by the prompt and clear communication which allowed us to keep the project moving and meet our deadline.
- CBcindy brownOct 7, 20265.0Very pleasant experience. I dropped off 4 books I wanted to have spiral bound, and since I live 2 hours away, they were able to get them done the same day. The lady at the front desk was super friendly! If I need anything else printed, I’ll be back again.
- JDJacob DillerSep 26, 20265.0Extremely satisfied with the experience I had with Alpha Graphics. Aaron was incredibly helpful. I approached him with very little knowledge of how to complete the project I was working on and he provided with me great advice, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The turnaround time was impressive and I will definitely be using Alpha Graphics again for any future printing projects I may need. Thanks for great Serivce!
Frequently Asked Questions About AlphaGraphics Boise
Can you blow up a picture to print?
The answer isn't as simple as yes or no, but the answer is yes. The quality, however, would all depend on the resolution of your image. We print everything at 300 dpi (dots per inch). If your image resolution supports us enlarging it without losing quality then yes we can do it, and it will still look good. If your image resolution does not support enlarging the image and will look fuzzy then we will let you know that before we print to make sure you are ok with the low resolution result. If you are unsure if your resolution can support enlarging it for printing, please bring in the file or email it to us and tell us the desired size and we can let you know if your file supports enlarging it or not.
What file format do you prefer?
We prefer a PDF file but we can accept most other image file formats as well. PDF file format is meant for print and so that is why we prefer PDF. Other file formats might turn out differently than expected if we print from a file format different from a PDF.

What is your turnaround time on printing?
Our normal turnaround time is 2-5 days for commercial jobs but we are able to handle 1-day or same-day turnaround times as well. The turnaround time may vary depending on complexity, quantity and production load.
Do you guys do regular walk-in customers or do you just do businesses?
Even though we have a strong business to business model we are able to take walk-in customers. We have a front counter with Customer Service Representatives ready to help you on your next project.
If I come in with a file, can I wait for it in the store while it gets printed?
You are welcome to wait in the store for it to get printed but depending on the current production load it may take longer than you are willing to wait. Typically we would ask you to drop off the project and we will give you a call when it is ready to be picked up. Either way we will inform you of the estimated time that the project will be finished.
Do you do photo printing like Costco or Walgreens?
We do not use the same printing technology for smaller photo prints but we use a high quality printing technology that gives a similar look. On larger photo prints we would use the same technology as any other service that offers larger photo printing.
Do you guys print on fabric?
We do have the ability to print direct-to-garment for apparel. The other capabilities are printing to canvas to create canvas wraps.
If I need something designed, do you guys have templates (in store or online) that I can choose from?
We have templates in-store that we are happy to share with you. Pretty soon we will have an online system that will provide you with a number of templates for different products.
Do I need an appointment to talk to someone if I come into the store?
You do not need an appointment. You are welcome to stop by anytime. If you work with an account manager or a sales representative it would probably be good to set an appointment with them to make sure they are in the center for the meeting.
Do you have a Notary?
We do not have a notary. But we do have a variable die cutting machine. Not useful for getting documents notarized at all, but it is lots of fun to watch the robotic arm cut pretty much any shape out and mind-numbing speeds.
What services do you offer?
The better question is 'What services don't we offer?' Seriously. We print anything on everything. Except for the stuff we don't, which isn't much.
