The man I talked to about a problem I was having with a change of address was very helpful and even went out of his way to speak to the carrier of that route. My problem was solved quickly and efficiently.
- JHJim HarpJan 6, 20265.0I have had a great relationship with the staff at Polk City. I'm surprised to see reviews that call them rude and unhelpful. I always try to project a smile and positive attitude. Perhaps if one comes in with a chip on their shoulder, the response is less satisfying?
- TBTim BartlemanSep 5, 20233.0I’ve never had any trouble in the post office. 90 minute closure over lunch seems like a long time to close in the middle of what is already not great hours. My main complaint is that I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on Friday. It gets pushed back to Monday “before 7pm”. Right at 7:00 pm delivery time gets updated to the next day (Tuesday) before 7:00 pm. On Tuesday, at 6:18 pm it gets updated to say that the delivery was attempted and was now being held at the post office at the request of the customer. I’ve been sitting here since 5:30 pm and I also have a doorbell camera. Nobody attempted to delivery that package. So now I have to to the post office to pick it up 5 days after it was supposed to be delivered, in the tiny window they are open during the day, because someone at the post office decided at the end of the day that they don’t want to deliver a package to my house. I cannot think of another reasonable explanation.
