- LDLinda DeanAug 4, 20262.0No mail delivery or pickup on our street again today. I had a birthday card in the box and the flag was out, but the truck just zipped by without stopping at any of the next few houses. I saw the truck stop at the top of the hill, the driver got out and went across the street to take outgoing mail out of a box and then get back in his truck and zip away. Guess that birthday card will be late! Very poor service, and apparently nothing can do about it. But we definitely should raise the price of postage!

I also recently had a birthday card show up, with the envelope open and the money stolen. I have a locking mailbox, so it was absolutely impossible for it to have been stolen by anyone BUT a USPS employee.

I've addressed this with the postmaster in marion Ia and was assured "he'd talk to the driver" yet here we are. Still leaving it out of the box. Often to get rained on. Its no surprise youre going broke.
