- BHBlake HuberSep 17, 20265.0⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I travel quite a bit, and I have my prescriptions follow me using USPS General Delivery. This time I managed to make things a little more interesting by copying the wrong address from Apple Maps. There were two addresses listed for the post office, and naturally, I picked the wrong one. I stopped at the post office and spoke with Chelsea. Rather than simply telling me the packages had the wrong address and wishing me luck, she went to work. She tracked down the information on all three packages, explained that she handles the parcels in the morning, and said she expects them to arrive within the next day or two. Even better, she told me she would watch for them, track them down, and hold them for me if she can find them. That is customer service. Mistakes happen—occasionally even mine! What makes the difference is having someone like Chelsea who takes ownership of the problem and genuinely tries to help solve it. USPS gets plenty of criticism, so it deserves recognition when an employee demonstrates what public service is supposed to look like. Chelsea did exactly that. Five stars for Chelsea—and thanks for helping make sure my prescriptions and I end up in the same place!

When I called to ask why it hadn't been lowered to half staff in honor of the mass shooting victims in Orlando, Fla. I was informed this is a decision directed from corporate through email. This is an email to call out what a shame that is that local individuals cannot act out of mercy without being directed from elsewhere to do so. Shameful.
