  I had a very poor candidate experience with Insight Global during a software engineering interview process with Hy-Vee. After I confirmed I had received the interview prompt and confirmed I planned to attend the scheduled technical interview, two recruiters from Insight Global repeatedly called and texted me to insist on additional recruiter-led “prep” calls. I politely declined and explained that I was preparing independently. Despite that, I received numerous calls, texts, and emails, including messages saying the interview would be canceled if I did not meet with the recruiters beforehand. The actual technical interview with the engineering team went great from my perspective, and the interviewers indicated positive feedback during the session. However, after nearly two weeks of silence and multiple follow-ups, I received a vague rejection from the recruiters saying the team felt I was underprepared. The issue for me was not the rejection itself. It was the excessive outreach, pressure tactics, lack of respect for boundaries, and poor communication throughout the process. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend using caution for any candidate working with this agency.

  I was given an opportunity to work at Microsoft as a logistics technician through Insight Global. Contracts were to be 3 months so various recruiters informed me and others that contracts would be extended past the expiration date which was 12/31/25. Nobody had any info even after the contract expired. On 1/4/26 I and a few others received an email saying our contracts have been renewed until March. Around the week of 1/4/26 I get a call saying "due to low work volume at Microsoft we are going to have to terminate your contract. But we will let you finish the rest of the week." Factually the work volume was beginning to increase at Microsoft due to them building more logistics facilities and I had a great repour with the full time Microsoft employees so that reasoning for laying me off wasn't valid. Lack of communication, transparency, and trust.

  I enjoyed working with Maddie Duey and Bob Frank. They both have great energy and were on top of any concerns or questions I may have had. Truly a delight to work for Insight Global and the team members.

  By far the most professional group of recruiters that I've ever worked with.. everyone was extremely nice and willing to assist you from the moment you walk through the door. Ashlee Kain did an AMAZING JOB explaining the job details to ensure that I was prepared for the interview I had Today. I meet with Brandon and he was just a pleasure to interview with.   I was very impressed with how professional both Emily and Mackenzie were. They were both so pleasant and accomodating with my situation. I have been placed with a very good company that's a good fit with my skills. They always took my calls and returned my emails. I had never heard of Insight Global until they contacted me, and now I am recommending them to all of my friends!
