If you're shipping eBay sales/prepaid parcels: beware. This was an all around confusing and far-fetched experience sending a prepaid parcel from this specific post office location. I dropped off a prepaid parcel on 8/4 (at the prepaid parcel counter - verified by the post office employee) that was destined for Texas. The very next day (8/5), the buyer and I (eBay transaction) received a notification that the prepaid parcel had been delivered to a PO Box in Cedar Rapids (52401). Seven calendar days later (8/12), the tracking information for the parcel still indicated that it had been delivered to said PO Box in Cedar Rapids. Upon inquiry at the post office in Cedar Rapids (52401), I was informed that the parcel was delivered today (8/12) in Texas... which is odd, because an online search for this tracking number (using USPS's tracking system) still indicates that the parcel was delivered to said PO Box in Cedar Rapids. I was informed by the post office employee that I could seek a refund online. Only giving two stars, because the employees at this location don't have direct control over how USPS handles refunds, and they were able to provide directions for how to seek a refund. In the meantime, I had send a replacement package at no cost, because: 1) USPS's inaccurate tracking information indicated that a prepaid parcel had been shipped to the wrong address, and 2) the USPS process for resolving this was circuitous and difficult. USPS's process seems to be riddled with the deliberate addition of friction to processes (e.g., accurate tracking, speaking to a post office employee via phone, seeking a refund, etc...) that should be simple... and USPS's own tracking system still shows that the original parcel is in a PO Box in Cedar Rapids. All around confusing experience for a process - shipping a prepaid parcel - that shouldn't be this difficult. If you're shipping a prepaid parcel from this post office, I suggest thinking twice before doing so.

Made a passport appointment probably a week or more in advance- they called me the DAY OF and said to either come in earlier or go somewhere else because they didn’t have the personnel for it.

what exactly am I doing with my life that I'm sitting here writing a review for the United States postal Service? I dropped a package off. why would it ask me to rate the post office because it's always the same, This isn't a business or a public entity but a federally controlled one and it moves as fast as such would. I guess they could try painting the floors blue and spend a lot of money doing it and it would still probably be the same speed

This was the worst experience I ever had. The lady with brown hair working the desk was so rude that a customer came out and checked on me after the interaction was over.
