I moved to Altoona within the last year or so and I've had to return packages back to Amazon on three separate occasions. My last visit to Staples in Altoona will be the last. Every time, dozens of people standing in line for well over an hour. It took them over an hour to help five people in front of me. Customers were getting very upset and one person behind me asked to speak to the manager. The "manager" explained there was only one computer for returns. They seriously had three people working for over 20 minutes trying to figure out how to generate a UPS label. The customer begged the manager to step in and take over, the manager helped two customers and then walked away. Watching other employees move around empty boxes, if anything at all. One employee stood by the registers and blankly stared at the line for returns. Let's face reality, Staples offers this service to help bring in customers, but it's dominating their business and because they only have one set up to return packages for Amazon, they put their worst employees at that station and end up turning people off of Staples permanently. I will definitely be more careful when I buy so I don't have to return, and if I do have to return, the amount of time I spend standing in line at Staples, I can drive to another location and be back home in the same amount of time. Need to do better.

Been here twice, the line for Amazon returns and returns is ridiculous. Over 20 people in line both times over 1 hour apart and only 1 person assisting. Probably need some more assistance 🤷

I go to Staples a lot! Usually it's to drop off stuff that I'm returning to Amazon! And they are always very helpful. Today I went in and I asked about making a banner for my small business and the clerk was very friendly and very helpful and gave me some good advice on how to do it! I love those guys!

Everytime I’ve ordered business cards here they take over 24 hours and when I call specifically in the morning the guy who answers every time is rude and gives an attitude. He told us last time we had to pay extra to get it the next day. After this round of cards that I hopefully receive within 48 hours (it’s promised same day or day after) I will not be coming back. This is ridiculous train your employees better
Edit: went to pick up cards and they lied to me and said they ruined one set so they needed more time. Came back 20 min later and they were just starting both orders. Guy rang me out didn’t show me like they’re supposed to. I opened up one of my packs and all the cards had 5+ centimeters of white space all around the back. I went back in and he told me there was nothing to be done and that’s how it was sent in so I had to rebuy them if I wanted a new set.
