  On Tuesday I called this Kahala UPS store to ask about the hours for their notary services. Got the information just fine. Arrived on Wednesday and stood in a line with only one person in front of me. When that person cleared the counter the young woman customer service agent finished wrapping a package, looked at me with what can only be called "disdain" and said, Next. I stepped to the counter, shared that I needed a notary and she immediately said, with more contempt, You need an appointment. Frustrated I shared my call the day before. She shrugged and looked away. The older agent next to her looked over and also said I needed an appointment. I asked why I was not told the day before. Both shrugged. I then stepped aside, went online and discovered the next appointment was a week away. I expressed my frustration to both agents, who had moved on to other customers. Upset, I said, as I walked out, This is terrible customer service. The older agent, to my back as I head out, said "We have a lot going on here." Wow. Does the customer come first at this store? NO. Did either agent care about delivering stellar service? NO. Did either put any energy into helping me solve my immediate need? NO. Should the young woman clearly not happy with her position be let off the hook? NO. Customer service is clearly dead. After this experience I went to Whole Foods Kahala, where customer service agents have not given a s*&t about customers since Amazon took over. (By the way, I went to my bank later in the day to inquire about a notary. I was treated like the most important customer on Planet Earth.)

  Fantastic experience, staff give me clear instructions when I called in, and they even called me to let me know when it was done within an hour. Exceptional service - the team was capable and extremely helpful

  This place could benefit from a global customer service approach. If a customer needs to send a fax, wouldn’t you offer a fax cover sheet? It's a small courtesy that can make the experience much better.
