When I arrived, the first employee I spoke with was kind enough to try to help me, but I didn’t have my original birth certificate. Even though it wasn’t during walk-in hours, she asked if I would be willing to go home, get the document, and return. I live in Union City, so that meant about a 40-minute drive each way, but I appreciated her willingness to assist. When I returned, the employee who had originally helped me was no longer there. Another employee, Stephanie, called me to the counter and asked how she could help. I explained that I had returned with my birth certificate as instructed and that another employee had been helping me. Stephanie told me she would go get that employee. However, instead of following up, she continued helping other customers while I stood waiting without any explanation. Thankfully, Cindy stepped in and asked what was going on. After I explained the situation, she immediately brought me to the counter and helped me complete the entire passport application process. She was professional, courteous, efficient, and had everything completed in about seven minutes. She reviewed my paperwork, had me sign the necessary documents, took my passport photo, processed my payment, and made the experience incredibly smooth. I want to specifically recognize Cindy for her outstanding customer service and professionalism. She took the initiative to help when she saw a customer waiting and ensured the process was completed quickly and correctly. Her willingness to assist turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one. Thank you, Cindy, for your excellent service. Employees like you make a real difference. The attitude from Stephanie was completely unnecessary.
