The worst rating I can give is one star. They deserve less. I am at the fire station, which is in their coverage area. I ordered tools from Amazon. They will not deliver the tools to the fire station because there is not a fixed mailbox at the street. There are a dozen people in the structure, but they will not deliver. I went to the post office to personally claim the packages that were shipped to my name at the fire station address on Mission Road. They will not release the package packages that are at the post office to me. I have showed my ID but they said they cannot give out packages to someone that does not have a mailbox. I have a mailbox at my home. The fire station does not for security reasons and they will not give me my packages under any circumstance. They’re sending all of the six ordered items back to the sender, even though they are still at this post office that I am standing in. Another package is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and they have told me in advance. They will not give it to me at the post office or at the address. It was to be shipped. Worst possible service. I asked for the supervisor and they will not give me a supervisor to speak with.

The employees are rude and snippy and act like they don't want to be there. The mail delivery around here is atrocious. Even though many people have complained the USPS refuses to do anything to improve the situation, citing the lack of people choosing to be mail carriers.

It always shows as "Delivered," but when I open my inbox, there's nothing there.

Came in to pick up mail that wasn't delivered and was sitting at the Post office and the lady i spoke with behind the counter was very rude & disrespectful. Treating me like its my fault she has to do her job. Talking to me like she wish I never came. Look on her face like she absolutely hate her life & job and at the same time hate the world and everything in it. Soon as you walk through that door you can feel the negative energy. Then they have a big sign on the counter saying no cell phones. Number 1, that is a violation of people 1A right. I didn't have my phone out but couldn't help but notice the sign. I don't care what policy this post office has about cell phones but your policies only apply to employees and not citizens. This is a public post office. Your policy is not law. People can use cell phones to make calls, send texts or record the business they conduct while there. I also noticed it wasn't a poster 7 on the wall anywhere that clearly says people have the right to use a cell phone or any recording device in the post office even at the counter. Its on the post office to keep sensitive information private not the citizens. Its also against federal law for a post office not to have the poster 7 visible for citizens to see and read and understand these things. Post Master do your job and do it legally. This is not a privately owned post office. You guys think you walmart or something? lol If you guys want to make policies that privately owned companies do, then go work for the private sector. You are in the public sector. Understand the difference between the two. You're public. PUBLIC LOL Also if you mad at the world and or hate your job. Go get mental help and find a new job. Thats way you're not mad and stressed out all day and treat people like trash for no reason. Guess what? It's other people going through stuff also. What? You think you own all the problems in the world. Grow up! Childish! All the bad reviews about this post office is true. To be honest! I think they know they have a bad reputation and is close to being shut down and at this point really don't care lol sad!! Lol Fellow Madison residents! I know exactly how to stop their nonsense. Everyone that is forced to use this post office especially in person. Take your phone or gopro or any camera into the post office with you and record the whole time you're in there. You are the press. The 1A gives you the right to be press/record inside a post office. Can they call the police? Yes. It would be a false call and report though. Can the police also ignore your 1A right and arrest you anyway? Yes. It would be a a false arrest though. At the point, the post office and police department would be in lawsuit territory very deep. Just make sure you don't record in a restricted area. If you dont record in any restricted areas you haven't broken a law. Also! All restricted areas has to have signs stating the area is restricted. The public lobby and the counter is public. Behind the counter is restricted. Also! Anything your eyes can see, you can record. Its the post office job to make sure no senstive information is visible. This post office is garbage. You can also contact the right federal complaint portal to make a complaint that this post office doesn't have a poster 7 which is required by federal law to be visible to citizens because poster 7 tells you all the rights you have within the post office. So since they like to be rude and disrespectful. Start recording the business you conduct with them. If they call the police and try and have you falsely arrested for exercising your 1A right to record public officials during their duties. If the police want to enforce policy instead of law. Don't resist arrest. Trust me! All charges will be dropped ASAP, same day or the next day. But guess what will still be possible and very strongly possible, a lawsuit against the post office and the police department for violation of civil rights. So if they wanna play softball let them, but be sure to let them know you play hardball.

If I could get zero stars, I would. I have never been so baffled at the Way A government establishment is being ran. Everything is a hot mess. Nobody seems to know anything all I needed was to know when to pick up the key for my mailbox, that I paid for three weeks ago and I have been up there multiple times to get it and a lady keeps telling me to come back. when I called Beverly was very rude. Hardly let me talk. She kept cutting me off would not put me over to the postmaster. The lady at the front saw me standing there holding one child in my arm the other in my hand, bald head because I just got done with chemo. But thought she should ask if she could grab the lady behind me as if I wasn’t standing there in line, but nobody cares and nobody knows anything. Hot mess express if you ask me.
