- NCNikcole CJul 21, 20265.0Exceptional customer service is becoming harder to find, so when you experience it, it's important to recognize it! My sister Tiffany and I stopped by this post office in Macon, GA to mail a large number of envelopes, and we were running out of time. JoAnna noticed we were trying to get everything finished and, without hesitation, came over to help us place stamps on our envelopes. She didn't have to do that, but her kindness, patience, and genuine willingness to help meant more than she probably realizes. She was so selfless, understanding, cheerful, and caring. She truly went above and beyond to make sure we got everything mailed on time, and we are incredibly grateful. It's rare to see someone step in with such a positive attitude simply because they want to help another person. I'd also like to recognize her colleague who assisted me while I purchased the stamps. She greeted me with a warm smile, was friendly, pleasant, and professional, and made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. Thank you both for reminding us what outstanding customer service looks like. JoAnna, your kindness did not go unnoticed, and you made our day! Macon is fortunate to have such caring employees serving the community. Five stars all the way!

- RPRed X ProJul 4, 20261.0I sent a letter containing sensitive information certified mail on March 21st 2026. It arrived at USPS Facility MACON GA DISTRIBUTION CENTER March 26, 2026. I filled a missing Mail Search Request in Apr. I was informed it could take up to a year. I called customer service for an update in July. I was told I could request a refund up to 60 days. Why was I told to wait a year without informing me of a 60 day refund window? Maybe My letter is in a huge pile with other undelivered mail. Google search "pile of mail St. Louis".

She was happy to walk me through the process, triple-check my information, and walk me through the expected timeline for receiving my passport. Even with a tight deadline for an upcoming trip abroad, Chelsea calmed my nerves and gave me real peace of mind. Highly recommend this location for any passport needs.
