Very disappointing experience at the UPS location in Hiram, GA this morning. I walked to the desk when prompted and said “good morning,” but received no greeting in return. After a moment, I said, “You’re not gonna speak?” and the employee responded with, “It’s okay,” before continuing the transaction. The customer service throughout the interaction was poor. There was no professionalism, no friendly communication, and no indication that the transaction was complete. The employee simply handed me the receipt without saying thank you, have a nice day, or even letting me know we were finished. I actually had to ask, “Are we done?” In addition, the employee’s overall appearance was extremely unprofessional. His clothing was sloppy, his grooming appeared unkempt, and he was not wearing a visible name badge, so I was unable to identify him by name. He was an African American male wearing a black arm sleeve/brace on his left arm. When working in a public-facing position, professionalism, presentation, and basic courtesy matter. This experience did not reflect well on UPS at all.

I recently visited the The UPS Store and had an outstanding experience. Store Manager Jane truly goes above and beyond to ensure every customer is satisfied. Her team works closely together to provide exceptional customer service from start to finish. A special thank you to Darius for the hard work and dedication he put into designing T-shirts for my family reunion. His creativity, patience, and attention to detail really paid off, and I am beyond excited for my family to wear them. Thank you all for your professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to excellent service. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for quality service and a staff that genuinely cares about their customers.

I went to this store location yesterday. I was in the area and it was convenient. I walked in and one girl was scanning some electronic equipment she was unloading from a box at the first register. The other girl was helping someone with an Amazon return. Neither one looked at me to say we'll be right with you. After the Amazon return was completed, I walked to the second girl and said I needed 3 papers faxed. The fax number was clearly attached to a post it sticker on the top. She dials the number and walks away. After a few seconds, she comes back and tells me it's a wrong number. I said that can't be. She then redials the number and in a few seconds she hands me back my post it note and said it's the wrong number again. I asked for my papers back which she left in the fax machine and left the store. Drove to my UPS store near my house that I usually use. Handed the store clerk my papers, within 7 minutes I was out of the store with my faxed papers and my confirmation that the fax went through. I'm so tired of getting poor service and rudeness. I checked the reviews of the first store with 2.7 review rating and should have known what to expect. Advice people.....check reviews. If they are low, find another place to do business. Whoever owns that store, read the reviews and get better help or close your doors.

I called The UPS Store in Hiram while I was still standing inside The UPS Store in Powder Springs on New Macland Rd, dealing with a failed print order and running out of options. The owner, Janice, told me that if I could get there before 7:00 p.m., they would help and she followed through. It was Janice, one employee, and me working until 9:47 p.m. to print, assemble, and package 200 booklets. In a situation that was already stressful, Janice remained calm, professional, and focused on solutions. She and her employee stepped in at the last minute and helped me salvage an important project for a major conference that commenced the next morning, when they easily could have turned me away. Yes, it cost a bit more, but under the circumstances, it was acceptable. I appreciated the extra effort, the willingness to stay late, and Janice’s commitment to getting the job done. I am giving 4 stars only because the overall situation that brought me there was stressful, but this location was the bright spot. I would gladly return.

I am writing to formally report a repeated negative customer service experience at the UPS Store located in Hiram, Georgia. During my most recent visit, I encountered behavior from the store manager and staff that I found unprofessional, combative, and unwilling to assist me as a customer. This was not an isolated situation. I have experienced similar treatment at this same location before, which is why I feel it is important to bring this matter to your attention. The manager’s communication style was argumentative and dismissive, and the overall environment in the store felt tense and uncomfortable. It appeared that staff members were hesitant in their interactions, which suggested a workplace atmosphere influenced by leadership style rather than customer service standards expected from a UPS Store location. In addition, the general level of customer service at this store has consistently fallen below expectations. After reviewing public feedback online, I noticed the location currently holds low ratings on review platforms, which reflects concerns similar to my own experience. As a customer who relies on UPS services, I shouldn’t not have to be exposed to this poor customer service at this location.
