I asked how much my envelope would be to send and he automatically said $8 without weighing or anything. I asked about weight and he just blurted out $8. I took it to UPS and they charged $4+. And we wondering why the USPS is loosing money.

Once, after they completely lost my package, I was told (by the post office workers themselves) if they are unable to find the address, they will just leave it some place close, which of course meant I lost my money and the item I ordered. They have done this numerous times even though our mailbox and the package were both clearly marked. They also mark the packages as delivered, so they are "no longer" responsible for your items. There is a reason I use FedEx or UPS when I have the option.
