I dropped a card for my 82 yr old father in the outdoor mailbox and he never got it. It was to cheer him up. I know someone between chestnut mountain and Columbus tampered with US mail. It had a gift card enclosed and someone decided to take what wasn't their's. Stealing from the mail seems to becoming more common then not. Stealing from a little old man is low and dirty. Hope IRS got my check???

If you think about sending packages from here, think again. I had a package sent out on the 16th of Dec, the last update of my package was the 20th of Dec. Either my package was stolen, damage or lost. I filed for an investigation and still have not received an update. I now have to file a claim against them. I should've just delivered my package myself and avoided the post office. Perfect example not to have Mail in Ballots for elections.

I've posted packages and letters from this convenient location for the last eight years. The woman who normally runs the window has never failed to alert me to ways to save money on my shipping and has actually helped me prepare a package when I wasn't sure how to pack an item to fit. Recently had to send priority envelopes and asked for signature service. There was a new clerk there and she advised me that due to Covid-19 the deliveries are contact-free. She said I could certainly pay for the additional service but the carrier would simply sign it and write covid19 on the letter and just put it in with the recipient's regular mail. New clerk also saved me some money and I still got tracking on the letter so I was satisfied with her service.
