- DCDan ChadwickMay 26, 20261.0Why does the usps make up excuses for not delivering packages ? Several times I received notices that said attempted delivery, no one there at 7:03am.. tried again, couldn't get on property.. today it said attempted again but gate was locked and person didn't leave a gate code ! There is no gate, private driveway and I can see my mailbox from my kitchen. Plus I am up at 5 am and their has never been an attempted to deliver at 7am as they state. Tell the truth that the delivery associates done get paid for months! That's why they quit
