- JRJuan ReyesAug 26, 20261.0On [AUG 22], I visited the post office to locate a package that was marked as delivered to my P.O. Box but was not inside my box. I approached the counter and informed the employee on duty of the issue. (Tall black man with veterans hat ) From the beginning, the employee displayed a dismissive attitude and did not appear interested in assisting. After a brief search in the back, he stated he could not find the package and insisted it “should be in the box,” despite the tracking information confirming delivery and my repeated statements that I had already checked the box the previous evening and again that morning. He then consulted the employee responsible for sorting mail, who also claimed it should be in the box. Instead of continuing to investigate, the employee handed me a sheet showing my P.O. Box number and location, implying I did not know where my own box was. This was done in front of other customers and was unprofessional. After being told again to recheck the box, I confirmed it was still empty. I requested that he come look himself. When he checked from the employee side, he discovered the package had been placed into the incorrect P.O. Box. He laughed upon realizing the mistake and just threw the package at me Although the package was ultimately located, the employee’s dismissive behavior, lack of effort, and unprofessional conduct significantly prolonged the situation and created an unnecessary negative experience. I am submitting this complaint so the interaction can be reviewed and addressed appropriately.
