The USPS on Forest Hill Branch in Augusta Ga sucks. They need to close down. They always losing mail, key for you to retrieve your package is always bent or broken. And they never leave the tracking slip when you’re not home. So how do we suppose to retrieve our mail when we go pick it up?

My experience with the USPS employee named Jeff was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I came in simply trying to explain that my packages were not being delivered because I recently moved into a gated community and USPS needs a gate code to access the property. Before I could even finish explaining the issue, Jeff repeatedly interrupted me, raised his voice, and spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful manner as if being loud was going to intimidate me. Instead of actually listening and helping solve the problem, he handed me a slip to place in my mailbox for the carrier. The issue with that solution is that the mailbox itself is located inside the same gated area, so the carrier still cannot access it. I was trying to explain that, but he continuously cut me off. Customer service starts with listening. A simple conversation and a little patience could have resolved the issue. I understand everyone has difficult days, but no customer deserves to be spoken to with disrespect when they are just seeking help. I hope USPS addresses both the lack of communication and the need for better solutions for residents in gated communities.

I have had issues with receiving my packages for the last 4 months maybe longer. There have been at least 4 occasions when my package was marked as attempted delivery due to no access. I have currently been waiting on a package expected on May 29 and May 30. I have called customer service twice, and they explained that the post office has the gate code and that they are supposed to deliver the next business day. Today is June 10th and I have not received either package nor have I been able to contact someone in the office. When I attempted to report a driver, I was told there was no way to know if it was the same delivery driver.

Carrier crammed 4 packages in a standard mailbox along with letters that were crumpled up in the mailbox. Damaging the packages and mail. Submitted a complaint with no response. Consistently bad service with leaving the door open on the mailbox and delivering mail to the wrong address.
