  Stopped by at this location to drop off some returned items. Since the original shipping box was beaten up, I brought a microwave oven box that was big enough to hold the stuff. The store manager told me the box was unacceptable because it was not a shipping box but used to hold a microwave oven. SO WHAT? Anyway, I had to buy a REAL SHIPPING BOX there, otherwise they wouldn't take my shipment. What a place!

  I paid $85.30 to overnight ship ONE SINGLE DOCUMENT from Augusta to New York because it was extremely time-sensitive. I shipped it Wednesday, August 12 before 5pm. FedEx guaranteed delivery by 10:30 am Friday, August 14. By Friday night, we were so concerned that we called the store—only to be told that the document had not even left Augusta. The manager then promised Saturday delivery. That promise was broken too. The document was finally delivered Monday, August 17, around 10:30 am. Five days after I shipped it. Five days for an “overnight” delivery that cost $85.30. Because of FedEx’s delay, I had to rebook my flight and pay additional airfare. When I later requested a refund (which FedEx clearly says on their website), I could clearly hear employees laughing about my request while I was still on the phone. It is now September 2, and I STILL have not received my refund. Their explanation? “Weather conditions.” Seriously? You charged me $85.30 for overnight service, took five days to deliver one document, caused me additional financial loss, laughed when I asked for a refund, and now blame the weather. Unacceptable. FedEx needs to do better.

  I'm only in the area temporarily, so I've had several packages held at this location for pickup. Each time I've come in, the staff have been helpful, kind, and welcoming, which has made the process quick and easy. The location also seems to offer a wide range of services and is appropriately staffed to handle the workload. I've never felt like they were overwhelmed or that I had to wait unnecessarily long to get what I needed. Overall, this location definitely stands out compared to most other FedEx Office locations I've visited. The friendly staff and efficient service have made every experience a positive one.
