- LMLisa MooreJun 26, 20261.0I went to the post office today for the first time in about 5 years. There was no attendant at the front desk. People were waiting. An attendant finally arrived to say “systems are down” and she can’t print postage. Just go to a UPS store.

Usually a homeless guy just camping out front and sleeping inside when nobody is there, which is more often than when someone is. I’ve been there 4 times this month and the main lobby has only been open once. Some nice staff for sure but as a whole it is absolutely pathetic. Seriously go somewhere else even if you’re close to this location.

Imagine a service where people may or may not be there, don’t have the materials you need when you need them (and don’t let people know before arriving), and have customer service that makes you want to give up with every interaction, and you’re just about there with this site. Some of us actually have to work for a living, so after waiting half an hour after their opening time for someone just to show up, I had to go. And it’ll waste my time again when I have to come back because their online service is a joke and can’t do anything right.

Edit: I called customer service and they said that I would need to confirm that the delivery service actually delivered my package. I don’t see how it’s a carrier issue when my packages go missing no matter which company is used. I just think it’s time to part ways with USPS for good.
