Ever since my auntie left this place, it has been quite an experience. I paid for my P.O. Box nearly three months ago, and when I came in, I was heavily inconvenienced because the locks had been changed on my box. I had my minor child sitting in the car since it’s usually a quick transaction because I have a paid box at this postal office. I’m heavily disappointed because this location is close to my home and has been for quite some time now, but the business side of things is going downhill. Additionally, we do appreciate the folks who are here helping out, but this isn’t right. I’ve seen our elders standing in the sun for long periods of time just trying to get serviced, and this office is closing down daily from a certain point until 2:30 p.m., so people are not getting the benefit of the governmental hours of operation (9A-5P) they should be receiving. This is horrific.

I am very disappointed that this post office closes for lunch during normal business hours. As a government service, the post office should be available to serve the public throughout its posted operating hours, not shut down in the middle of the day when many customers are trying to conduct business.

Im beginning to think that USPS should be put out of its misery because most of them have the WORST service ever! I went to this post office at 11:43 am on 6/3and this is the sign posted on the window. There were couriers and other customers there needing to get service and they decide to close the entire post office for several hours for lunch. Others got tired of waiting and deserted the unkempt place. So it looks like a ghost town because no workers are working in mid day. This is tax payer funding lazy, unprofessional, disrespectful people that can’t even be referred to as employees because they didn’t see themselves as employees/ civil servants. Just despicable behavior. Oh and the grounds are unkept and unsightly. Just awful!

Postal carrier stole my package today. I was home all day, did not knock on my door. The tracking showed the carrier delivered to the door. Was not at the door. I will be filing a police report to have the police look at the cameras in my complex. There are cameras facing my building and the mailboxes. Also my next door neighbor has a ring camera, I have evidence that the postal carrier did not drop off my package. I will be pressing charges.
